For every girl, her wedding is the most important day of her life. And our Bollywood Style Diva Sonam Kapoor was no different when it came to her big day. Yes, Sonam Kapoor tied a knot with boyfriend businessman, Anand Ahuja on 8th May 2018 in the presence of family and friends with traditional values and rituals.
The Wedding Cards

The wedding cards were given in form of
floral e-invites in shades of pastel green. The dress code for the wedding was mentioned as “Indian Festivities: Shades of White” on the e-invite.
Mehendi and Choora Ceremony

The
wedding rituals started on 6th May, with the mehendi ceremony which was followed by sangeet function.

For her
choora ceremony, she wore a white lehnga, as per theme, designed by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, teamed up with same shades in jewellery. Needless to say, she was looking stunning.

For her big wedding day, Sonam Kapoor was seen in a marvellous Anuradha Vakil outfit with a beautiful choker and neckpiece along with matching mathapatti & jhumke. She looked like
a traditional Punjabi bride with choora and kaleere. Sonam’s sister, Rhea Kapoor was the chief bridesmaid at her wedding which was a very traditional Sikh ceremony. The ceremony was held at her aunt’s Bandra bungalow.

The groom, Anand Ahuja complemented his to-be- bride, Sonam, in a
gold sherwani with a ruby red mala.

The Anand Karaj ceremony was attended by family members along with some of the colleagues and friends of the bride that included
Amitabh Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, Swara Bhaskar, Kareena Kapoor and Jacqueline Fernandes.

The wedding was attended by
many star guests which included
Shah Rukh Khan with wife Gauri, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan with wife Kiran Rao, Kareena Kapoor Khan with husband Saif Ali Khan and son Taimur, Ranveer Singh who is the second cousin to Sonam.

he Leela in Mumbai. The starry reception of the newly wedded couple was the talk of the town.
