It’s that time of the year again when the scorching summer will once again rule our days. With fresh air turning into scathing heat and indoors offering no respite, summertime is not all about sunshine and daisies after all.
While AC’s do come to our rescue, there is nothing more refreshing than an iced mocktail on a blazing summer afternoon to quench your thirst. So this summer, flavour it up with these easy-to-make mocktail recipes, and battle the laziness that comes with the heat!
Cucumbers: 2, thinly sliced
Lime Juice: ½ cup
Sugar: ¼ cup (optional, or add to taste)
Mint leaves: ¼ cups, chopped.
Fresh Blueberries: A handful
Lime juice: 2 oz
Simple syrup: 2 oz
Lemon juice: 1 tbsp
Sugar syrup: 1 tbsp
Cumin powder: ¼ tbsp.
Black salt: ¼ tbsp
Pineapple chunks: 6
Lime juice: 15 ml
Sugar syrup: 15 ml
Soda: 1 can
Add these rejuvenating drinks to your daily meals, and voila! Your summer experience will become ten times better.
