A Mother Is Reborn With Her Child - Happy Mother's Day

Motherhood is a divine gift to a woman and a mother is the most precious gift to her children. She is the one who lovingly shapes our lives and gives us the right direction. Mother’s Day is the day to celebrate motherhood and it is observed on the second Sunday in the month of May every year. This year, too, Mother’s Day will be celebrated on Sunday, 13th May 2018.

This is the day when kids express their love and gratitude for their mothers for being their best friend. Mother’s Day is the day dedicated to recognise and salute the most priced bond between a child and her mother. It is a day of honouring the mother and motherhood, the bond of love and trust that only a mother can share with her kids and the impact a mother has on her kids and hence, her impact on the society as a whole.

It is believed that Anna Marie Jarvis is the creator of Mother’s day celebration in the United States. A mother is the one who will always bless us come what may. It is a special day when we acknowledge the duties and responsibilities a mother shoulders wholeheartedly for her kids 24 x 7 round the clock with a smiling face and blessings in her heart for her children.

Abraham Lincoln’s famous quote describes what a mother means to her children “All that I am, or hope to be, I owe to my angel mother”.

He, in very few and simple words, described what a mother is. From his quote, we can easily deduce that a mother is the one who shapes up the lives of her kids and inculcates good ethics and values in them. It is with her teachings, her efforts and her moral and ethical upbringing that a child is enabled to choose the right direction for himself and do something important and impressive not only for his life but also for the society.

Mother’s day is not only meant for the mothers but also for the mother like figures who have a strong presence in our lives. They are women of substance who hold a very special place in our lives since they are our first teacher, first friend, the first person who provides us food. Their tenderness and care always stay with her children.

One of the most popular sayings that were quoted by Rudyard Kipling explains why God created mothers.

Kipling had quoted “God could not be everywhere, and therefore, He made mothers”.
Now, that is an absolute winner!! It describes the true meaning of motherhood.

There may be hundreds of people who discourage us, try to bring down our confidence and some may even curse us out of jealousy and many others. But a Mother is like God to her kids who will always bless her children and never curse them. With a mother, a child feels protected and her confidence level grows.

Whatever we may say or write, but words will always fall short in describing a mother and her importance. Lucky are people who are blessed with mothers who stand by them through thick and thin.

A mother is a divine gift to children – she is reborn with her child
