1. Avoid hot Shower/ Bath
Yes, agreed you do need warm water but we are not talking about completely avoiding it, but make sure that the water is not very hot, because when you put extreme hot water onto your skin, it removes the natural oil from your skin and then it makes the skin more dry.2. Use a good quality soap
Many people don’t care about the soap they use.. Whenever you’re buying soap, make sure that it’ll work for your skin type and is suitable to current weather.3. Apply moisturizer, keep the skin moisturised
Most important Keep the skin moisturised. Applying moisturizer will soften your skin and the dryness will completely disappear. Not very fancy or chemical moisturizers., even petroleum jelly works amazing, apply the petroleum jelly/moisturizer on the face, lips, hands, legs. Aloe Vera gel acts as a wonderful moisturizer. Coconut oil is one of the common types which will be definitely available at home which can be massaged to avoid dryness.
4. Chapped lips
Chapped lips are one of the problems in winter. Use a good quality lip balm or simple petroleum jelly.5. The skin on your hands
The skin on hands is thinner than on most parts of the body and has fewer oil glands, moisturise hands and feet too, more than once if needed.6. Good Diet
Try to add the vitamin A, vitamin E rich foods in your diet.
7. Stay hydrated
Stay hydrated in the winter. It is said that appetite is less during the winters, so we end up eating less, try to take more juices and drinks.
